How to Get More Leads from Your Website

Lead generation is a top priority if you want your business to grow. And for businesses hoping to see an uptick in lead generation, UPRAISE has a question for you: when’s the last time you’ve refreshed your website? Optimizing your website is essential to getting high quality leads. Here are some strategies to get your potential customers interested in your business. 

Looks Matter

First and foremost, is your website optimized? Meaning, can it be assessed on mobile devices? Is it easy to navigate through? Does it look like a website that was created in the 21st century? 

People are protective over their personal information in general and they need to trust your website in order to leave their information. Make sure your website is accessible, looks modern and loads quickly. These are all signs that your website is trustworthy. 

Keep Writing

If you don’t already have a blog on your website, consider creating one soon. Blog posts are a great way to boost SEO and credibility. Blogs show that your team members are knowledgeable about industry standards and trends, and also show that you’re actively updating your website. Plus, blogs create more landing pages for your site. Look at blog posts as a window for your customers — they are more likely to reach out once they see more of you. 


Having multiple calls-to-action is key to increasing engagement with customers on your website. There are a number of ways to include CTAs and gather visitor information so you can follow through the customer journey. 

Here’s some ideas of great website CTAs:

  • Ask visitors to sign up for your newsletter and company updates
  • Offer a “limited-time offer” discount for website visitors
  • Offer free access to e-books, whitepapers, analyst reports and other information your company is included in that might typically live behind a paywall
  • Offer a free demo or consultation of a software or service

Get the customer to be intrigued about your business and offer things they won’t find anywhere else. Once you have their email, you can continue to nurture leads by sending relevant follow up emails, but don’t go overboard here. 


Chatbots are a great way to respond to potential leads with little to no wait time. Research what pages visitors are spending the most time on, what questions you get asked frequently, etc. Through chatbot, you’ll gather even more insights about what people are looking for, what they need in their journey and more. Any questions that require a human to respond will ask for their email for follow ups which, as we mentioned before, is a great way to send follow up emails. 

Nothing goes perfectly the first time so consider doing some A/B tests to see what’s bringing the best results! You can switch up your CTAs, create different kinds of pop-up forms or even use different images on your website. The important thing is to continue looking at your analytics throughout the whole process and find the tactics that drive growth and align with your business model.
